CAVA VSB

Arandas, Mexico

Type: Liquour showroom

Photography: Horacio Virissimo

Design team: Ian Dainton, Gabriela Peña

Located in an existing wine and liquor store in Arandas, Jalisco, this project transformed a 30m² storage room into a 70m² space. This layout successfully merges retail sales with a venue for private tastings, brand events, and corporate parties.

The design modernizes the traditional cellar by blending wood and hammered copper in orthogonal shapes. The walls function as continuous display and storage: everyday retail bottles are placed at consumer height, while exclusive bottles are showcased like art on the upper shelves, accessible via a decorative perimeter library ladder. Finally, the bar area features a long "Via Láctea" marble counter designed to accommodate up to 12 guest
